PostHog also provides privacy-configured session recordings and heatmaps; sensitive booking-summary content and form inputs are masked or excluded.

5.3 Advertising cookies

We use campaign attribution data to understand how visitors reach https://www.samsu.ie and how campaigns perform. The current analytics implementation is not used to serve personalised advertisements.

5.4 Marketing/Tracking cookies

Marketing/Tracking cookies are cookies or any other form of local storage, used to create user profiles to display advertising or to track the user on this website or across several websites for similar marketing purposes.

We do not currently use a separate advertising profile or advertising pixel. Any future advertising technology requires a separate privacy and implementation review and an update to this policy.

5.5 Social media

On our website, we have included content from TikTok and Instagram to promote web pages (e.g. “like”, “pin”) or share (e.g. “tweet”) on social networks like TikTok and Instagram. This content is embedded with code derived from TikTok and Instagram and places cookies. This content might store and process certain information for personalised advertising.

Please read the privacy statement of these social networks (which can change regularly) to read what they do with your (personal) data which they process using these cookies. The data that is retrieved is anonymised as much as possible. TikTok and Instagram are located in the United States.
